«Інструменти екологічної політики ЄС – INENCY» – Викладачі

Viktar Kireyeu is working in Erda RTE, Rijswijk, Holland and is a visiting lecturer. He has aPhD in Environmental Sciences and Policy and has research and NGO experience related to multilevel governance of natural resources, and vulnerability & adaptation in biodiversity and forestry, with particular interest in visualisation and communication of research outputs to decision-makers and broader public, and to development of online interfaces for involving broader public to environmental monitoring. Viktar’s teaching experience includes courses on EU ICT tools for environmental management (KNUUE, 2013; Siberian Federal University, 2014; Pskov State University, 2014-15), land-use governance (Odessa State Environmental University, Belarusian State Technological University, 2012-15), climate change adaptation and carbon sequestration (Central European University, 2009-14; Viciebsk State University, 2015).

Kireyeu will be an academic coordinator of the project, he will contribute to the development and teaching of all the INENCY courses, contribute to INENCY research (forestry, biodiversity, and planning issues), coordinate the ICT course and overlook INENCY dissemination through online tools.

Ganna Tetenko (PhD in Geography) has great experience in teaching and research. She is specialised in environmental assessment, governance an soil ecology. Dr Ganna Titenko has developed several courses for BSc and MSc students; also she is responsible for methodological work at the School of Ecology.

In INENCY Ganna Titenko will be responsible for organisational coordination and support, development and teaching of the ICT and sustainability courses as well as for carry out of the workshop.

Ilona Otto is a Senior Scientist at Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research, Potsdam, Germany. She has a PhD in Resource Economics and specializes in institutional and political economy. She investigates coordination mechanisms for provision of public and common goods such as biodiversity and water. Dr. Otto is also interested in adaptation to climate change and in the evaluation of adaptation options. She has a profound experience in both qualitative and quantitative research methods such as interviews, surveys, cost-benefit analysis, and behavioral experiments. Her most recent research focuses on modelling of social-ecological systems.

In INENCY Ilona Otto will contribute to the “management” course and the sustainability course, and INENCY research (climate, water, and biodiversity issues).

Anton Shkaruba  is a Research Associate at Central European University, Budapest, Hungary. He has a PhD in Geographical Ecology and has extensive research, consulting and teaching experience in the issues related to development and application of ICTs for nature resource management, climate change adaptation and mitigation, and local and regional sustainability. This includes development and teaching of courses for BSc and MSc students on adaptation and management of social-ecological systems and on carbon sequestration (Central European University, 2009-15), ICT tools for nature resource management (Siberian Federal University, 2014), Governance of Natural Resources (Pskov State University, 2014-15), organisation of series of summer schools at Central European University on precautionary principle (jointly with EEA, 2015) and adaptation of socio-ecological systems (2009-2013).

In the project Shkaruba will be involved as contributing teacher in courses on ICT, management and sustainability (also the course coordinator), and co-coordinator of the INENCY research, overlooking publication of INENCY findings.

Kateryna Utkina (PhD in Geography) has research and teaching  experience in the issues related to EU approaches, concepts, legislation and environmental management practices for BSs and MSc students. She has implemented more than 10 international research and educational projects.

In INENCY project  Kateryna Utkina will be responsible for development and teaching of the courses on sustainability and ICT as well as for carry out of a research part.

Olena Chernikova carries out research and consultancy projects in environmental monitoring, sustainable energy, environment and health impact assessment, and teaches courses on environmental management and audit, sustainable development and environment impact assessment. Olena Chernikova has a wide experience of contributing to academic cooperation projects. She has an extensive expertise in training environmental practitioners. She is involved in supervision of graduate and under-graduate students and regularly authors environmental textbooks and educational materials.

In INENCY Olena Chernikova will contribute to the “management” course and to the sustainability of the course, development of online e-learning platform, and organizing science-policy seminar.
